Bruxelles-Energie, a sorting centre subsidiary, produces energy from non-recyclable household waste. Since 1984, we have been converting this waste into electricity and heat, contributing to the energy supply of 65,000 households and operating Brussels’ largest district heating system. As a key player in resource circularity and recovery and processing on behalf of the citizens of Brussels, we are constantly innovating to reduce our environmental impact, optimise our production processes and ensure the efficiency of our operations.
To reinforce our teams and support the industrial development of the energy recovery unit, we are looking for a new colleague:
Electrical Drafter (M/F/X)
Location Brussels (1000)
Schedule: Daytime
What will your responsibilities be?
- Collaborating with the team of electricians and reporting to the team leader.
- Creating, adapting and managing all electrical diagrams (wiring, low-voltage switchboards, etc.) in EPLAN software.
- Integrating technical and regulatory constraints into the design of the plans.
- Conducting independent field inspections to ensure the accuracy of the plans.
- Making any adjustments that are needed to the plans in AutoCAD 2D.
- Ensuring that the plans are updated to reflect changes to the facilities.
Desired profile:
- A2 level qualification in electricity together with training in technical drawing, or a bachelor’s degree in electrical or electromechanical engineering or another technical field.
- Initial experience in the industrial sector.
- Familiarity and compliance with RGIE-AREI (General Regulations on Electrical Installations).
- Expertise in AutoCAD 2D and EPLAN.
- Ability to express yourself (orally and in writing) in French (C2).
- A knowledge of Dutch and/or English is an advantage.
